This is a USB security dongle that generates 18-digit factory passwords for Caterpillar excavators. The device allows users to reset operator inducements, change serial numbers, personality mismatch codes, engine HP ratings, machine security key install status, delayed cooldowns, lifetime hours, idle hours, engine lifetime revolutions, and much more.
The dongle operates completely offline and standalone with no internet or server login required. Each USB key comes preloaded with 100 credits, with each password generation consuming 1 credit. Replacement credits cost $18 each and can be purchased in any quantity once the key reaches between 1 and 50 remaining tokens.
Important: If credits are depleted to zero, the USB key will lock and must be mailed in for reloading. ET license numbers must follow the format ETxxxxxx (6 numerical digits), and machine serial numbers must be programmed as XXXxxxxx (3-digit machine prefix plus 5 numerical digits).
